now i do not wish yo offend any of our hunting friends,but is there any one over in ireland breeding any good hare dogs,i do not here much in the way of arranged matches as it was in the uk, is it just kept that bit more quiter,i do know they breed a game dog, is it just what they prefer

Ah sure we are not easily offended over here lad, there are quite a few decent hare dogs but the reason you dont hear to much about them is that we dont have the same need to prove that our dog is the best.

not legal to hunt hares in Ireland with any dogs except registered packs of beagles or greyhounds within a coursing club and even then only under licence from the minister of the enviornment.
