bunny killer 19 Posted August 5, 2009 Report Share Posted August 5, 2009 young ferrets will eat until they drop mate,the problem is how to stop them doing it?if you notice kittens they tend to have bloted bellies,try to work out a full grown rabbit will be too much for say 4 to 6 young uns in one day if thats how you feed them a carcass a day,,try to cut down on the food intake feed them daily but chop the rabbit in half for one day and then the other half the following day,the ferrets are not going to starve but will have less to eat,,i have kept and bred them for over thirty years and found little but often the best and healthiest method for my ferrets but everyone to their own methods these have worked for myself over the years,,good luck with the young uns they look healthy enough to me,, Quote Link to post
