young ferrets will eat until they drop mate, the problem is how to stop them doing it?if you notice kittens they tend to have bloted bellies, try to work out a full grown rabbit will be too much for say 4 to 6 young uns in one day if thats how you feed them a carcass a day,,try to cut down on the food intake feed them daily but chop the rabbit in half for one day and then the other half the following day,the ferrets are not going to starve but will have less to eat,,i have kept and bred them for over thirty years and found little but often the best and healthiest method for my ferrets but everyone to their own methods these have worked for myself over the years,,good luck with the young uns they look healthy enough to me,,

They look fine to me as well mate but ive got to disagree i pile rabbits into them when there young as thats when they need it for growth etc and iv'e found if you give them a good start when there young you rarely get problems later on in life .The last litter of kitts i had where on rabbits at three weeks then it went to a full rabbit and finally the kitts where eating two full rabbits a day off the jill at five weeks old and ive only heard good news about there working ability
