Phantom 631
ALMOST !!! Cheeky get http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eimeria_stiedae Yeah I am aint I Heres my logic and Im sticking with it :11: You gave the option of Liver Fluke, which droped you chances of being spot on by 50%, Then you said you were not convinced by the liver fluke but not 100% so that increased the likelyhood rising to 75% so that made you almost spot on Phantom Quote Link to post
Guest buster321c
Well here`s mine I had a fleeting glance at your post and replied with one , that might give you an idea of what you found ( within 7 minutes i might add ) I also gave a description of the symtoms and causes ( which nobody else gave ) of the main liver problems of the rabbit . I knew it was Coccidiosis , because every few months the same thing arises and a member asks `What`s this ?`BUt i just did`nt want to sound like a know it all , and give you a small amount of information you could research for your self So in my mind i was 100% right within seven minutes Buster Quote Link to post
John-B 4
Every time i have seen a liver like that it has been on a rabbit with myxy, Yes I have gutted rabbits with myxy and they all have livers like that, even rabbits with the start of myxy will have livers like that (even if they dont have the eye damage yet) I have read the above posts and i don't find them conclusive, someone prove me wrong Quote Link to post

However when someone mentioned a weird liver I suggested Myxie. I have since found out that is not allways true. The link I posted clinched it for me. The liver in the picture is virtually identical to the picture that we took of the liver of our rabbit. Phantom Edited August 5, 2009 by Phantom Quote Link to post

Phantom 631
good effort phantom, good write up, are you still using your permision on the paddocs? Thanks Les, No I dont go up there very often, my neighbour threw a hissy fit and told me he will call the ARU if he sees me walking up that way! Although I have the Verbal permission, I am not going to risk it until I catch the guy who owns the horses and get him to sign the permission papers. I left him a letter, with permission slip and a self addressed envelope fastened to the caravan for him to sign and send back to me. As I looked back after comming out of the Paddock I saw the big old Mare finishing it off I keep having a wander up there to try to catch him as I dont have his address or number!!!! You still doing the Cave Road area? I have an Idea that may be of use to us both; having had a wander round that way a couple of weeks back. Phantom Quote Link to post

I double bagged it before I put it in the freezer so I could tell it apart. Lesley wasn't too chuffed when she walked into the kitchen and saw me peeling a bunny over her nice clean sink  remind me to skin em in the field next time! I've ordered a pod and a new lamp for the gun so we dont have to come home when it gets dark. This lamp is supposed to be as good if not better than the Ledray When we going back up there Riff?
