Rolfe 2
Harvest time is upon us once again so it's time to seek the shelter of some shady tree and watch the dogs work. Mine have been doing it so many years now........they have it off to an art form. Always be careful with with machinery about as it is all to easy to in the heat of the chase for accidents to happen. My dogs are ok in as much they will stand ready to snap up any bolters that make a bid for freedom without the need for a restraint of any kind.....that said.....i keep them under close control when the harvester is approaching. Fantastic sport though watching the dogs working out in the open. Quote Link to post

Rolfe 2
do you get many rabbits bolting out the crops then and what sort of distance from the holes are they? Usually get a few bolt at the end of each cut.............anywhere between 40 and 70 yards as a rule.......but plenty of time for the dogs to pick them up Quote Link to post
