davyt63 1,845 Posted August 3, 2009 Report Share Posted August 3, 2009 Hi every one Charlie & I went to the horse paddocks we have in Oxfordshire, when we pulled up at the gate we couldn’t see much out. So we got kitted up and went for a mooch I headed south chaz went north. As I was going over to a favourite place of mine I spotted 3 bunnies out but had to go the long way round to keep the wind in me face. When I got to me spot, just about to kneel and take it out! And a bloody pigeon took of from the bush scared! The shit out of me and the bunnie, as it dashed of. So I waited for a while and had a play with me video camera This is me playing!! Then my first target arrived at 35yds a nice buck, I let it settle before I let it have some lead for lunch THWACK! Done a back flip and landed like it was doing the “dying fly†{Ah “TISWAS†they were the days!!} I left it there for a while. And about an hour. later another target popped up this one went over to its mate and was sniffing it, so I gave a little squeak to raise its head, but it ran towards me about 15yds and stopped dead still, it ran straight into a AA FIELD .177 THWACK!! knocked it straight on tits arse, and didn’t move a muscle, and disappeared in the grass. I could see that chaz had a couple as well, so on the radio to meet back at the car for a cuppa. And after I tried out the small woods, there was a load of proof of bunny activity So got me self up against a tree and waited. An hour passed and I could see a bunny about 60yds away so waited for it to come closer, as it was moving closer I raised the HW100 .177 and had it on the cross hairs, was about to take the shot but did not fell comfortable in my self or the range, so waited a while longer but it pissed of out of sight.
