:no:Two, actually! The third one's right here with me, safe and preserved. IF my replacement hole in the wall card ever gets here, before I f***ing starve to death, I'm going into town to buy the rest of the bits I need to start making my own wires. Then, as you so rightly suggest, Chalkie; I'm going to saturate that entire corner with wires! I thought that today, when I saw that hot trail through the dew there.

I suspect it's just the one mink - and a buck at that, judging by the trail he leaves behind him. But what do I know? This could be a mink super highway!

But, yes, I totally agree: More loops means more chances. For now though, my hands are tied - and I'm damn hungry!

Thankyou! Now the dog can well and truly see the rabbit and, I'm delighted to report, that looks Exactly like my latest efforts at the Bush Set! :good: Granted, that bush doesn't see quite the traffic that Styx does, but I'm a patient man ~ I f***in need to be! :D

Ok. Tomorrow I'll conceed and take some sticks along to Styx too. I guess, for now, I'd might as well face the simple fact that I'm operating on spots where a bit of fencing is needed. At least I can gain experiance in that aspect :)

I'd noticed the lock and was going to ask about them! :D Handy! Only I'm not too happy with the heavier ones I have and was set to replicate. They just add that extra aspect of awkwardness to the setting, I find.

I'm just about to import a load of stuff from US. Wonder if my supplier can get me some of those, pdq, and add them to the box? If not, I'll just buy some straight. Won't cost much in Air Fair. Can't be a lot of weight to them. Looks like time I revisited The Snare Shop then!

Thanks for the heads up, Woodga! :good:

look at peggy,s snare , see how its fenced in , that mink has nowhere to go , but put its head in that wire, then look at your own wire , see how much space there is around it, like i said , FENCE THE f****r IN

chalkie, do you want me to send you a snare to hang yourself? :11:

Just finishing here, Moley, and I'm making a detour to my Kindling Store on the way to checking my wires :good: I intend to do exactly that. The bugger'll have to try my loop or else swim across! :D

Cheers!

 Styx Set's a dead loss, mate. Girder comes right onto this bank and no way can I get a stick fence through it. I've had another 'Draw Through' - usual, inch loop pulled out onto the bank side. I've just re set the loop with all the presicion I can muster. He tries often enough, maybe I'll just get lucky :(

Incidentaly; The b*stard left me this ....!

Calling Card at the Styx!

And yes, it stunk of fish. 100%, unadulterated, purest Mink sh*t! Cheeky b*stard!

Bush set, I Think was another draw through? (Sorry. I'm malnourished and quietly losing it here). Anyway, I 'Fenced' that one for all I was worth. See what you think?

Fenced Bush Set

Talk about 'Man the Barricades!', eh? Did my best. Then I 'Disguised' it. Here's the finished product of my pains taking labour:

Bush Set Mk IX

I just don't know any better, lads. That's the best I can manage just now. Tomorrow, all things being equel, we'll see. Oh, and if that loop looks terribly positioned? No worries. As I've said before; The run slopes down towards it and there's a hell of a drop half an inch behind / through that loop. It's actually a couple of inches or so off the 'ground level' at that point. Wish me luck ( )

Mheanwhile, if I should discover and bang up precise grid referances to these locations, don't mind me at all if any of you experts fancy just popping on over here and placing a fresh, dead mink in one of these f***ing wires! You don't have to tell me you've done it and I really won't mind at all. Honest!
