smallest pigeon

was out shooting pigeons the other day and spotted the smallest pigeon i have ever seen ,same colour as a woody , bluey grey allover but no other markings and about 6inc long in flight . anyone know what it is?

wasn,t one of those ,almost half the size a bit smaller than a collar dove but blue ,could it be a foreigner?

ill go with blue rock loads round here in herts seem to be able to turn on a sixpence in full flight wich is a good indication when your shooting that its not a pigeon............i know you said pigeon shooting and not that you shot this im just saying very distinctive bird once you know what they are if indeed thats what it was lol

could it have been a diamond dove they are small blue grey . just a thiught .
