Recommended Posts

Guest larson
hi all,

Im going to try set up on my own for ferreting, that includes making the hutch's and box's myself,

does anyone have and blueprints for ferret hutch's and box's that will take 1-2 ferrets,

Many Thanks

Trevor

just make it big with a sheltered compartment for sleeping. as long as theres plenty room and maybe a hamock and pipes to play in you wont go far wrong. have a look at other peoples and copy theres or go similar..

Mine 6 foot x 4 foot x two foot high. 1 inch wire gauge mesh pre cut to size. all I had to do was support it together with cable ties. very simple but very spacious and couldnt be simpler to construct. also cheep. ;)

Countryboyo my ferrets get those real hard rubber dog balls and thick rope and dog rings also they like things like gardening gloves and wellies to crawl around in, I am also thinking of putting in a cat scratching post to climb up and scratch the claws down.

Get it big and plenty of stuff in there they can do. Get a box and fill with compost and shit and let them dig in there. My brothers ferrets love playing with tennis balls :p he lets them run about in a trailer and throws in the ball and they all go for it lol its funny. I will post some pics for you now mate :)
