RWDSteve 0
If its the same as Magic Purple Spray That we use on the sheep its great stuff, its an anti-septic spray
Tassa 64
I wouldn't say it heals them in no time. I use it it when needed on open cuts but its only to stop infection and kill germs etc. Its a good thing to take along with you when your out for the day
poacher3161 1,766
It is a must have in any dog first aid box not onley does it heal wounds but also hides them wich can be sensible if the dog is to be seen on walks by other people.atb

Hannah4181 260
Most equine shops sell it as well . . . . .. purple, green or blue . . . . i have always used the stuff and find it very effective.
poacher3161 1,766
There is also a chemical called potassium permananate that comes in a purple crystal form [bANNED TEXT] added to warm water it is very good for sore feet in a running dog like bleeding nails or split pads but i have never tried it on cuts or abrasions. It is a dissinfecting and deoderising chemical and works wonders on blisterd human hands but does leave them stained for quite a wile.atb dell

mooshka 22
Terramycin Is an antibiotic so only available from the vet or with a perscription. Yes, I was lucky enough to be given a can of 'Blue' Alamycin have since tried to get more but only with a vet prescription. It's been a god send for my running dogs. It's used for the treatment of foot rot in sheep ect..... it's the antibiotic 'Oxytetracycline' I keep it in my dog first aid bag and found it came in useful at the weekend on someones dog with some nasty wounds Only wish it could be obtained over the counter...
