Cupid Stunt 18
have you got a dog??? are you entering the comp?? the competition only open to members of hunting life!!! as ive said why dont any of these doubters step up and run against a minshaw dog then itll be settled once an for all Nope so Nope & its easy to join here isn't it? Now let me try to explain in really simple terms so you understand what i was saying, read it once, twice even a third time but do it nice & slowly so you don't get confused, ok? I couldn't give a f**k about anyone else's dogs or what they do with them & i don't doubt what has been said about the game taken with the dogs. understand so far? Good :thumbs-up: If the folk on here that have doubts about the type then they should get out & run against them, see for themselves like you have said. still with me? Good :thumbs-up: Now having some sort of association with this type would you not be a good candidate for pointing someone with one of these dogs towards one of the doubters? In the lamping comp or otherwise it really doesn't but it would be better for the folk entering the comp on here to have more folk enter. Well thats it very basic words & sentences so i hope i've got through because i'm f****d if i'm going to try again Quote Link to post
Guest moomin300uk
super sriker and andy i dont know why you waste yout time replying to these stupid questions you have put yourselfs in the line of fire manytimes and all your post and pics are not enoght for some people so f**k them but oct your chest freezers will be full and your pockets lined as for the others they will be sitting on line huffin and puffing over crosses and who has the best dog!! Stabs 3
why not run your dog along side a minshaw dog and see if its capable of these high numbers You brought it up mate....I'm just asking if there are any going to be running!?!?! Quote Link to post
Stabs 3
Cheers Andy...I wouldn't know a Minshaw bred dog from a hole in the ground mate. Never seen one run to my knowledge. Just wanted to know if any would be running the competition out of plain curiosity, no hidden agenda or anything. A pal of mine has one and he is happy with it and that's good enough for me. Cupid Stunt 18
silly sentences and cocky words mean fuckall to me mate if you havent any dogs why dont you keep it shut instead of shit stirring is this easy enough for you to understand guys like you really piss me off, alot of folk on here are just mouthy c**ts sitting behind the computer not one as the balls to step up and run there dogs against a minshaw on hares,if you doubters believe its easy to catch large numbers on the lamp then lets get it on and see instead of coming on here with your smart arse remarks Oh damn couldn't resist replying HERE WE GO AGAIN, where are these Minshaw dogs that are young & fit then, if folk that doubt them don't know where they are how can they run them? Secondly if they are going to run then why not in the comp being organised on here? Again simple enough questions :thumbs-up: P.S Maybe go back & read my previous post a fourth time eh? HBG 350
i think if people wanted to see the dogs run they should forget about the competition and get out for a night with andy, the comp is gonna be ran over a time limit(i think it was mentioned)so any half decent dog will catch rabbits walking for a couple of hours(slipped alternatley at that),but chasing hares/rabbits off the back of the van with very little rest in between runs and for a lot more that 2 hours is a different game and this is where the minshaw breed will exel above any other that i have seen in my years with lurchers. if it bothers so many people about this breed and what they can do get on the phone and i'm sure andy will give you's a run no problem, but be prepared for a long night Quote Link to post
Guest ADAM AND HIS DOGS
DO ANY OF THE OLDER DVDS VIDOE FEATURE MINSHAW DOGS RUNNING AS I WOULD LIKE TO SEE FOR MYSELF. WAS ANY OF THE DOGS IN LURCHER MANIA ASERIES MINSHAW. IM GENUINELY INTERESTED IN THIS STRAIN. IF THE DOGS ARE AS GOOD AS SAID THEY SHOULD BE DOCUMENTED IN A BOOK OR FILM BEFORE THEY FADE AWAY. Guest ADAM AND HIS DOGS
WHERE IS THIS COMPETITON GOING TO BE HELD SOUTHERN IRELAND?? ID LIKE TO GET DOWN.!!!! Quote Link to post
Sorley x 32
Easy boys, thread started off quite interesting until it degenerated. PM each other if you are wanting to trade insults. Lamping comp isn't for everyone and that is fair enough, plus privacy ahould be respected. Quote Link to post
Guest JOEB
What exactly sets these dogs apart from other dog, crosses whatever Andy, can you put your finger on it mate? Can you or Superstriker list down the differeces (spel?) from other types that you have seen? Is it just a stamina thing or what? This is not a have a go type post, just very intrested Cheers :thumbs-up: JOEB Quote Link to post
lucky 578
By the way Kane i'm making no excuses at all mate just stating the facts infact if you have a 10 year old dog bring the f****r along and me and you will get it on for a few shilling,i can guarantee what the outcome will be...now it's come to the crunch are you gonna come up with the same old excuses :11: :11: :11: :realmad: :realmad: :realmad: i wont be running in the copetition either because to be honest rabbits and hares dont interest me at all nowadays as someone said earlier it's the dedicated owner that makes a dog providing the quarry and land are right because in my oppinion any half right dog can kill rabbits and hares on the lamp in numbers. In reply lucky, bigger game don't interest me nowadays mate, been there and done it,infact imo just about any dog is capable of having a go at the larger stuff, doesn't even have to be a lurcher. are we talking single handed because i am ? i've noticed that all the minshaw thread pics etc relate to running 2 dogs together on something small such as hares or rabbits even ?, fair enough if you want large bags then thats probably the easiest way to get them, but imo it does'nt make the dogs the best thing since sliced bread does it ? i would like to see the results if the dogs were run on there own ?. i'm not disputing the fact that you've had a lot of tackle with these dogs either as the evidence is there for all to see, but over how long a period were the pics taken ?. i've only been taking a camera with me for the last few year and i know there's lads/lasses out there that are the same, some still don't but if they did how much game could they document in there hunting careers, i guess a lot would be the answer but would this make there dogs the only type worth having, answer no. i have never had a minshaw lurcher, but i've never heard of one that does what i want either. lucky 578
Lucky i,ve caught loads of big scores single handed, there are loads of pictures on the Minshaw thread with the dogs running single handed,i ain't took more than one or two pictures myself in the last eight years so i could absolutely fill x amount of pages with pictures if i had taken the camera. There are pictures on the thread of old Blue with 90+ bunnies single handed,i have posted loads of pictures of my own dogs killing well into double figures after running hares,as you say you've never heard of a Minshaw dog that does what you do,well by one or two of your pictures mate of foxes and deer (if thats your chosen game) well if you take a look at the Minshaw thread then i'm sure you'll see plenty of both of those ,infact lots more than anything you've posted. Each photo i have posted mate is a one session haul,i've never in my life taken more than two dogs lamping unlike many.Like someone said earlier on in this thread it's a road we've been down many times and it probably won't be the last time.Cheers Andy. it would take me a week to go through the thread again so maybe you could tell me were the foxes taken single handed or doubled up ? and how regular. p.s this site is far from what it was, i get more complaints from members admin etc when i post a few pics of foxes etc it is'nt worth the hassle so i dont post any pics now i could put 20 pics up from the last 2 weeks just getting the dogs warmed up for the coming season. i remember a site a while back (forget what it was called) and it was a private forum if theres ever another site like that i'll have plenty of pics to show the members dont worry about that Quote Link to post
chartpolski 23,551
Andy, 'striker, I was going to ask why you bother answering these people, but me and Longdogrunner got sucked in when one keyboard warrior had a go at us lately, you just can't help replying, even when you know they have never done anything bar sit behind the annonimity of a computer. Half the problem is they don't read thru' the posts thoroughly and don't have any experiences of their own to call on. B.T.W., I would have had one of those pups out of Jack and the saluki x like a shot, and no haggling, If I had room. Cheers. Quote Link to post
lucky 578
are you reffering to me chartpolski ? because i have'nt seen anything from you at all you really are the "armchair hunter" Quote Link to post
