cutting drives

Is it to late to be cutting through some briars on my wooded drives ie will it disturb the birds. i have only wild birds on my shoot. im also only new to gamekeeping and any advice would be appreciated

iv found sounds like chainsaws, strimmers, diggers etc have very little effect on the birds

it wont bother them some will even watch what you are doing just try to keep to the tracks you are cutting rather than walking althrough the wood

make sure you'v got some jungle formuler or a good insect repelant for this time of year

No problem at all, birds are used to farming operations. I dont usually cut any rides etc untill Sept-Oct time.
