Stabs 3
I've ran bulls and wheaten crosses and I found them both wonderful dogs. In my experience the bulls matured earlier whereas the wheatens, whilst a bit slower to mature, took a bit to switch on and once they did.....hold on! The wheaten cross was a loving, loyal bitch who wanted nothing more than to please me but she did have issues if dogs showed her aggression. She never started a fight, ever. Finished a few though. Very versatile when it came to the gun and was soft mouthed when she needed to be (on birds) and a demon on anything else. Shit coat though but it didn't seem to bother her. I don't see why you have to be for or against one or the other. Both can do a job for you. Both very intelligent, biddable crosses. Quote Link to post
macker 5
a weaton cross in my opinion should not be compared with bull cross as any one that has had both will tell you. depends which type suits you. and a hell of alot of crap in both breeds Quote Link to post
Cleanspade 3,324
i'm not for or against bull crosses i had one years ago and have seen a few worked. if they suit you then fine. but why pull down other breeds like i say ive had both and prefare my wheaten cross. if everyone liked the same thing it would be a boring forum. yis Quote Link to post
artful212 394
iv seen gud and bad in both breeds i prefer the wheatens myself as i like to b able 2 walk them anywhere and people wouldnt look twice as there broken coated unlike walkn a bullx tho in our squad thers a few bull xs that r very gud and a brave few wheaten xs but we are all diff and hav r own opinions each to ther own Quote Link to post
