roe buck, long tines

i added a picture of a roebuck i shot last week with very long tines. this is unusual for my patch and have not seen it before. has anybody else seen this?

had an unusual one a few years back. A rather long front tine on one side, and "normal" on the other side

Here is an old buck with quite long tines.

As Mark pointed out ,the long tines usually show age in a buck but by no means a hard and fast rule .
