  • 2 weeks later...

As for 'name and shame', as my username says, I am David Lloyd, the owner of the stud dog and the last time I try to do someone a favour.

Everything that this guy has put on here is utter rubbish. I have not threatened him, his family, his kids or even threatened to steal his bitch, which sadly, after seeing her work a little after the deed with the stud dog had been done, I would never had let him use my dog.

My dog is only just 2 years of age but is doing very well in the field and is the result of breeding worker-to-worker by myself for many years. Not just putting some time into a litter of pups. I let him use my dog as a favour and the agreement was that I definitely didn't want any cash and I wouldn't want a pup back just for the sake of it, but if a mate wanted a pup then he could have one free of charge.

When the pups were only a few days old they were advertised on his website, "£$%^&*(^%^&*(.co.uk. By the age of 1 week he was telling me that if any of my mates wanted one they had to go and pick it straight away as they were nearly all sold. None of my mates wanted one at the time. By the age of 2 weeks, Stephen had told me that all the pups were sold for £150 each and he had taken £50 deposits on them all. Just more lies.

As the weeks passed people were letting him down. The row started when the pups were only 5 weeks old, when he said he had 1 or 2 left. A mate had expressed an interest as he'd seen them advertised in the local paper. I said I'd ring Stephen and see if I could sort one out for him. I didn't get the response I was hoping for. I said to Stephen "Could you sort my mate out with the dog you've got left?" He said "Yes, no problem". I said "Does that mean he's having it for nothing?", he said "F*** off, I've already given one away to one of my mates". I said "That has nothing to do with me". He said "He can have the dog for £100", not the £50 he's telling everyone on here. I still have all his text messages, as he stopped answering his phone to me. My mate does not sell on dogs and the reason he would not go to pick up the pup is that he's 5ft tall and about 6stone after a rainy night's lamping and had loads of attitude from Stephen when he spoke to him on the phone.

This probably only covers half of what's been said but I thought I'd save the best bits til last. While on the phone to Stephen he threatened me that if I did not forget about the pup he would take the photos of my stud dog with foxes and hares to the police. They are the same pics which are on this forum; they are only of shot and retrieved quarry, so I told him to carry on. Young chezney, who was fighting my corner on here, was witness to this. I haven't been back online long so am only now replying. As for all the threats, I live 13 hours away from this breeder now so I don't think I would be likely to do anything, do you? Besides which, I never said I would.

People should check out his website as mentioned above. What he does to make his money is put adverts in free newspapers, advertising good working dogs for sale, then you have to pay £1 to join the 'peddling' site, where he shows lovely photos of dogs, occasionally mine, which he definitely had no permission to do, says these are dogs for sale but sorry they've just been sold. In the short time I've known Stephen Hall he has offered me 16 working dogs of all descriptions, he even phoned me up with a litter of I think it was Mastiff x Pitbulls which he could have for £100 a pup and then we could sell them on and make more money. Sounds like a really nice guy!

On the last occasion I had a walk with his bitch during the day there were plenty of rabbits about and my 10 year old bitch made his look silly. I said to Stephen "I've made a mistake" and offered him £500 and a pup out of any litter I have in the future for free if he stopped the bitch having her litter. The bitch was very, very poor. Maybe that had something to do with my mate not bothering as well. I didn't notice Stephen writing that in any of the above abuse. There's probably a hundred things I've forgotten - even his 11 month old Jack Russell that his missus' 6 month old Chihuahua was trying to cover when it was in season. Ask the breeder about that one - disgusting!

Hope I've named and shamed myself enough... David Lloyd.

Oh, just one more thing. He told me the bitch was three and a half years old then forgot, like most poor liars, and said that she isn't even two and a half. He thought that he'd never be able to breed her as the Whippet Greyhound that he tried to line her with 12 months previously, she would not stand for. This would have made her around 14 months at the time. We had words about that. I'd made a massive mistake and there was nothing I could do to change it. When he starts telling me that Bull crosses sell much better than Bedlington crosses I could've spewed. There was also an email to a friend of mine, who Stephen didn't realise I knew, that he had offered a dog out of this bitch to a Bedlington Greyhound, supposedly covered her 2 days before my dog. The plot thickens...
