Jack Russell come in a lot of verity. The KC decided that to registrar them as pedigree, a breed standard would have to be made . The parson jack Russell is the name given to the dogs that match the KC breed standard. So your jacks are fine just not kc show type

He said he gets anoyyed when people come upto him and ask him if his dogs are parsons? and he wants to scream!! what a pleb! these dogs to me look like big bucks, he wouldnt say how much he charges for a pup??? imo he breeds for looks over working ability!

They're all Jack Russells IMO, f**k what the show types want to call 'em. The name was used to describe any predominantly white working terrier originally anyway. :thumbs:

what i think of them is working terriers theres not really a standard for them they are just white working terriers

 

at they end of the day if they work thats all what matters i was always told jack never bred anything he bbrought working dogs

the KC also dropped the ....jack.....so they are just parson russells. the name was to similar to the cheaper version so it had to be dropped to get the price up :angry:
