My home town.

Recommended Posts

This is my home town of Tenby in SW Wales.

Hunting to the left, fishing to the right! :D

Bad points are, poor distribution of wealth, (loads of money, but very few well off people) crap wages, crap jobs & loads & loads of holidaymakers in the summer. The population goes from around 5000 in the winter, to 50,000 in the season. Good for the rich folk, but a pain in the arse for everybody else! There's only so many times you can give directions to the harbour, without wanting to send someone the wrong way.. :whistling::laugh:

Good points are, brilliant place to bring up children, good pubs, plenty of history, and just look at it! Miles of coastline to fish, and miles of land filled with quarry, if you know where to look. ;)

Good points drive 10 miles in pretty much any direction and you hit the green green fields of the Yorkshire Dales!!!

Here's mine.....locally known as Dundee, but to the locals 'Scumdee'

Heres the tourist boards take on it :icon_eek:

Uncover a different part of Scotland, where two thousand years of magic, mystery, and romance, are interwoven across a land as unspoiled as it is rich in history, tradition and culture. Whatever your reason for visiting Scotland, explore for yourself the legacy of ancient peoples, kings and queens, adventurers and inventors.

Enjoy a contrasting landscape, where rugged coastlines, gentle lowlands and Highland Glens, merge easily and unexpectedly, and produce world-class golf locations set against dramatic and breath-taking scenery.

Give yourself plenty of time to absorb romantic castles, glistening beaches and stunning formal gardens; experience top-quality visitor attractions that inform, inspire and entertain; and indulge in modern, 21st century, cosmopolitan city life, which blends shopping, art, theatre and culture.

Welcome to Angus and Dundee - a truly unique Scottish destination.

Oh to be an artist!! :clapper:

I live to the north of Dundee, just into Angus..

I shoot to the North, West and South.. Just over the river Tay.

Love it!!
