Guest Scuba1
saw one on crime watch once, the guy that owned it got 6yrs for holding up an ice cream van with it, probably not a road you want to go down....... He wasn't trying to hold it up, he was just trying to hit it as the accuracy went up the spout and rabbits where to small as a target. ; That did not work either so he tried to bag a double decker bus next. foxon 0
only if the stock is sawn off as well , then yes its an fac pistol This is a very grey area, if you look at the action of an air rifle it is a lot longer than most pistols, so if you lop of the stock & barrel, you still have a sizeable lump that is not easy to conceal, like a lot of Squirrel controlers do they bob them, so they can dispatch humanely in the trap, in the eyes of the Law it all comes down to purpose, if a lad on a houseing estate were running around with such an item I am sure the Police would use every power they had to bring a charge of illegal firearm, if a pest controller were to use one in his day to day work I doubt they would give a second glance, I call it seperating the wheat from the chaff or Chav. foxon.
