finaly finished my new multy leval ferret hutch!

did you make that from scratch or did you use an old peice of furniture or summit ?

from scratch just old bits of T&G and bits i had lieing around, used plastering mesh and it seems ok, cost me nothing to make so im not to bothered! just gota felt the roof now

I used plastering mesh before on a hutch it was fine but i would recomend dressing the edges off with some straps of wood as its really sharp stuff

that was the idea feeding them on the bottom lol keeps them a bit fitter, i would have made it deeper if i had more wood. iv cut myself on that mesh twice alwready so tomorrow i wil tack some strips on.

Don't feed them on the bottom level blando, you'll want them to use that as the toilet area.

i was going to try and see if i can get them using a litter tray but maby it would be wiser to feed them on a middle level.

You cant beat letting a ferret have a bit of extra space to explore, i turned half my shed into one big cage!

 

 

 

Not the best pic to describe it, but 8ft x 4ft to themselfs keeps them happy
