Guest Ditch_Shitter
why does this happen mate any ideas ?? Sebaceous Glands, mate. Glands in the skin which secrete oil (Sebum) into the actual hairs. Because it's inside the hair, you can't wash it off. Your ferrets are doomed to stay yellowish Why they turn from pretty, snow white kits to manky, yellowish adults? Exactly that: Maturation. Become more aromatic with it and, conversley, the now oiled hair often becomes just that shade harsher too. Sorted? Quote Link to post
Guest The Big Fish
Could always bleach them, why not give em a perm too If your real carefull you could make them stripey with small mohicans, bit like the gremlins, that would scare them ole bunnies out from their hiding places Quote Link to post

Neil 0
Dont worry about it, you will find that jills will tend to loose fur, either when mated or in this heat that were having at the moment. And the fur goes a shade lighter, When the fur starts to lengthen again, the colour will come back. I promise! Edited July 30, 2006 by Neil Quote Link to post
Guest wickidweasel
this can be caused by blocked bile ducts the ducts would need opening and flushing out apparently Edited July 30, 2006 by wickidweasel Quote Link to post
