hello im 16 year old and wondering when i can get a shotty lisence ive shot a few & know what im doin and currently do not have a criminal record just need a bit of help cheers. tom!

you can apply for a shotgun certificate at 16 but you will need a parents signature and they or an adult have to take you out shooting or to buy cartridges

If i were you i would wait a lil while untill your 17, then you can buy a gun and cartridges and use it without supervision, however even then expect a bit of skeptism from the police as they are obviously very cautious with younger people and firearms.

 

If you have any questions, im 17 and had a licence since i was 12, but only recently been allowed to own gun, i'll be more than happy to help you with what i can.

Get on with it youngman, we need incomers, the authorities cannot resuse if you are of good charachter
