nasher1 258
I tend to work longer hours and let the missus deal with em, but as I've cracked a rib I offered to look after em while she went to the shops with the oldest daughter for some retail therapy, I only had them a hour and decided to take them to the local park wher my 9 year old fell off the slider and broke her arm, the hospital visit certainly takes care of a few hours. HAHAHAHA! :11: :11: :11: Been there done that! Took my sproglette to the park, asked her if she'd like to have a look at the dicky birds. "NO dad want to go on the swings and slides and boundabouts." Into the play area, let the chiel loose, and as I roll a Wandsworth one-strander, she hits the top of the climbing frame, takes a swan dive, head butts the concrete. Off to the A&E. What I thought was great was that I faced some seriously heavy questions. If I had been an abusive parent I would have had my balls nailed to the wall. That was 15 years ago. Now she looks after me. . . Wicked right hook she's got. RicW
