Tearing my hair out!!

Recommended Posts

A few days I can stick, but this is taking the biscuit!!

I had a walk on Bodmin Moor planned tomorrow, but if its like this there's not a hope in hell... The youngest has just turned 2, and there's no way he could rough it with waterproofs and wellies as the oldest 2 would....

Is there anyone else out there doing thier nut trying to keep the sproggits happy? ... Hubby just phoned to say they've forecast this for most of August too :( I'm wondering how the hell I'm gonna survive the next 6 days, let alone the next 6 weeks!

Help guys!!

I share your sentiments

I have no suggestions... I am struggling myself!!

Doesnt help not having any money either

Well thats where a stroll and some sarnies up on Rough Tor made for a cheap but amazing day out..... IF the weather obliged!

My Mum and Dad and an Aunt took 4 of thier grandchildren to Flambards a couple of days ago.... they had £3 per person off and it STILL cost them over £80 to get in!! :o

Then they still had to pay for some things like the little remote controlled boats and other games at a quid a pop!! Its criminal! We wont be going there in a hurry :(

im afraid the next best thing is colourig books and a good set of ear plugs, between myself and my partner we have two at four years and one at five. And to top it off one of the four year olds are autistic so he is like a bouncing ball of energy if he cant get outside :(

Hmmmm, I'd really struggle with the 2 and 3 year old in this rain, I know they'd not melt but I dont think they'd enjoy it atall, the rain was stinging my face this morning, and I'm a hardend ole boot  It really is like winter here in Cornwall!

I'm gonna get a shed load of chocolate and make choccy cornflake cakes with them I think... The oldest 2 have got thier friends coming for sleep overs tonight ... so I'll have 6 buzzing monsters to deal with :: especially after all that choc.... hmmmm..... maybe change of plan needed there I think!! lol

i was just gonna suggest baking..................gives them somthing to do and then keeps em quiet afterwards.......and you can only hope for a break in the weather to walk off the extra calories !!!!!

there are plenty of things to do .....but as previously said its so damn expensive !!!!!!!

good luck and lets hope theres at least a few nice days to come
