davyt63 1,845
Hi every one Well this evening I went to my tool shed and got my crow bar , and went into my son’s room to prise him of his PS3 to come shooting with me. Well luckily enough I didn’t have to use it, because he said yes he would go seems it’s my birthday So of to the business park we went must have been there 5 minutes and I had THWACKED! 2 in as consecutive shots , then I drove around for my son to have a go. So took him to the top and started to work our way down, well it wasn’t long before he had his first of the evening and what a good shot it was to . A nice bit of THWACKING!! so after about half an hour it was 2-1 to me Then I took him to a nice little sniping place just sat in the car and had a quiet chat till we seen some movement, it wasn’t long before we was interrupted by his second target of the evening and THWACK! over it goes another nice! Shot, so we moved on for a bit and spotted another just run into the bushes, so slowly drive up to them and there it was just in side the bush but a clear shot all the same so of he goes again THWACK! 3-2 to Dec So now we decided to go into the horse paddock adjacent to the park, to do a bit of lamping, and I must have counted 20 rabbits. So along the hedge line we went father and son. And there is water but over a concrete pole so the horse doesn’t hurt its self against it, which made a good sniping point and could see a clear view of the field. As my son hasn’t done much lamping before I decided to take the “lead roll as you do†and had a quick lamp round and there was 4or 5 in range so up came the AAS410K .22 THWACK!, THWACK!,THWACK!, all three doing back flips like it was going out of fashion . And dec was so impressed at my lamping skills; he asked if he could have ago. So I thought why not, so I lamped up for him and he spotted one of the 5 that were in range earlier. I thought it was a bit far for a first time lamping, but I know my sons capable of a good shot so I thought fook it why not. So up goes the AAS410K .22 I could here him steadying his breathing THWACK! back flip and down dead . Now this dissevered a high five straight away. And the big smile on his face said it all. So we came out with 4 bunnies and the score was 5-4 to dad Then he wanted to go back to the middle of the park where the bill boards are to have one more look around, and would you “Adam & eve it†there was one lone bunny out a bout 35/40yds, now this place is well light so no excuse for a miss, I had to tell him to use the hold under of 1 mildot. After steadying himself and his breathing THWACK! another champion back flip and shot! By this time he was getting tired so I decided to call it a night but hoped it would last a lot longer, as I really enjoyed the time with Dec and his good shooting and we had a laugh as well WHAT A GREAT!!! NIGHT!!!! group photo Happy hunting Davy Quote Link to post
