ian118118 10
there used to be a farmer around here that imported 2 adult lynx and left them to run around on his farm. his excuse was to keep the population of the rabbits down well anyway a few month later me and my uncle were on his farm (we had permission) and the cats started growling at us. my uncle shot both of them with a shotgun and that was the end of that. but it goes to show.. people import them and let them run around everywhere. its stupid if you think that they wont breed and run away to become wild
welshboy454 3
In common with a few others it seems one day something which looked about the size of a labrador - I am convinced it was a black cat of some kind ran across a lane in front of me. Knowing the sceptics I said nothing except tell a friend who lived 200 yds away from there in case his grandchildren got hurt - even he took the piss. Anyway take a look at this image- Goodness knows what is out there [view: http://halbot.haluze.sk/images/2009-03/4843_Picture42.jpg 650x499, 64665 B]
sandymere 8,263
The Sun photo looks like a blurry fox and the vid that was on the BBC web site yesterday was an ordinary moggy. Some people will believe anything so I'm offering guided tours in pursuit of the Exmoor beast with definate views of this acclaimed big cat or your money back, £200 a throw, please send payment to Mr S Mere, Out the back. Sandymere, North Devon.
