Malt 379
I've recently bought a Lightforce Lance (140), and was wondering if anybody had used one for a bit of rabbiting with the dogs. I had the intentions of buying the 170 (striker) but the item was mislabelled. I had the use if a cluson laserlight up until recently, I was very impressed with the build quality of it, but not so with the focus of the beam. Has anybody had the use of the laserlight/lance, and could anybody tell me if the beam on the lance is better. Cheers. Quote Link to post
Strong Stuff 2,171
Apart from the obvious size difference, I think the main difference between the striker and lance is that the lance only has a 50W bulb. When I was asking about a variable lamp, I was told that the handle on all 3 lamps is the same, striker/blitz/lance, it is only the size of the reflector that differs, and the bulb size in the lance, so ............ get it apart and see if a 100W bulb will go in it, if it does (and I'm reliably told it does) then you're sorted. Does the lance make as much noise when you knock it as the striker does, flipping thing is like a drum! I think that might help, if it doesn't then just ignore me, I'm rambling again lol Quote Link to post
