strange behaviour

ive got 5 ferret all living together in a court, one of the jills keeps grabing her sister by the back of the neck and draging her round like a mother would a kit,only does it to the one ferret and she dosn't seem to mind has anyone seen this before ?

My two( they are also sisters) are doing this at the moment, when i checked them over today it seems that one of them has come into season again, some one suggested that the smaller one of the 2 is having a phantom pregnancy and treating the other one ( the 1 in season) like a kit.

Its just mothering instinct , my 12 month old jill is doing it to the kits i have here

She might have had a phantom, makes them like that, has the fur gone dull and has she gone out of season?

I've a mother and this years daughter, the mother has come back in season and the kit (now bigger than her mother) is scruffing and dragging. Dominance, hormones, playfulness who knows? They are complex creatures and every individual is different.

my 2 jills are doing this to looks like dominince as thay do this when play fighting and its allways the same jill that dus all the draging of the neck as wins all ther littil fights
