I have a border x fell who's 18 months old and he's only starting to show any interest in hunting cover now, he still won't even sniff at a fox hole. I know they are notoriously slow starters, but I'd prefer it if he at least had a look around, even if he didn't enter. If he's going to be no good I'd rather know now so that I could give him away as a pet. Quote Link to post

If he's going to be no good I'd rather know now so that I could give him away as a pet. keep in there. i have a border that didnt look at anything till 2years old.i stuck to her,cause i knew her lines wer good and there was no reason that she wouldnt work.shes now clean off loco,she b lucky to see her 4th bday.
