Huntmad 1 Posted July 26, 2009 Report Share Posted July 26, 2009 im fed up of ppl going on about gettin a dog out of good blood lines yea the parents or grandparents could be good workers but doesnt guantee the pup will. i know ppl who got a list as long as their arm for pups out of their bitch cause shes good un but mainly for the name and they breedin her 2 or 3 times strait after every season it not fair on the dog just cause majority of you want a blood name behind it . any lurcher can par with a good line dog it all depends on how much time you put in with it . yea i know you get the od dog that aint no good but theres more than enough are . even the blood line names started as nothin so wat does that say. just like your apinion on this Link to post

Dont get me wrong they are fine looking dogs but £1000 for a name. they can have my sir name for £10 Link to post

martync1967 64 Posted July 26, 2009 Report Share Posted July 26, 2009 totally agrre on this one if a dog with top bloodlines in it produces a litter of say twelve pups, there may only be one of these pups that will be of any decent standard so you cant say that what you have paid for is going to be top notch if you can see where im coming from at the end of the day nobody knows whats in a pup untill it has grown to an adult my opinion is that bloodlines dont mean shit all. ive seen dogs owned by friends of mine in the past that would of put most of these so callled top dogs to shame (fact)some people will dissagree but its the truth ,have a go at me if you like but i wouldnt pay the money some are asking because you could be buying a dog that wont be what you think it might be , when i first joined this site and seen some of the salukis for sale i had to laugh at the prices they are being knocked out for what a crock of shit. lurcher x lurcher anyday of the week does it for me like someone quoted its what you put into the dog that makes it what it is not this bloodline bollucks end of Link to post
