Ian Clark 0
im after insurance shooting with air-rifles basic stuff do i go sacs basc must be alot of opinions on this i shoot over a livery so would like decent cover Hi Scouse - I can't comment on the others but SACS is the ONLY organisation to give all of our members not only public liability cover for ALL types of country sports but also the £100,000 legal fees insurance in case you get into trouble with police. Misleading people again Ian?? telling folk they've got public liability insurance when it in fact according to your own website Third Party Liability see SAC's website link: http://www.sacs.org.uk/ SACs is also not the only organisation to offer legal fees insurance!! this company http://www.shotgun-store.co.uk/country-cov...rance-621-p.asp might not give you £100,000 legal cover? only £25,000 for £19.95 thats more than enough shooting over a livery The policy also covers hunting with dogs I can't believe the Director of SAC'S doesnt know wether they offer third party or public liability insurance or does he know the difference?? If I was you scouser I would go for the Country card cover its less than 20 quid and fully covered! in my opinion its a more reputable organisation with £10 million pounds public liability for members!! SACs according to their website have only £5 million pounds cover!? Contact Jerry Parks Young on: Tel 01293 825556 fax 0870 762 1938 Mobile 07752 902021 www.abaclays.com shoot@abaclays.com Click on this link: http://ccc3.org.uk/docs/policy.pdf it gives you the policy details Tom Ps: If I ask you questions on here re: SACS, Ian? will you allow me and other members of this forum and SACs the benefit of some answers? Would it be cynical to ask why you've only joined the forum now? instead of joining and supporting when I was doing your recruiting! or have you joined because of my recent posts?? events co-ordinator 353
well i joined the c/a seemed a good deal Most important thing is!! you've got insurance Tom The unfortunate thing is you've been advised by people with an agenda so now you have a membership with an organisation that won't fund an apeal if you get refused a sgc or if you get revoked. You also have no legal insurance in case you get charged whilst out shooting or working a dog just remember the next time some one comes on looking for advice same names same mince.
