jenksi87 3
how often do you check your ferts for fleas and ticks? just checked mine for thoroughly and my smallest jill had 3 ticks, 1 in each ear and one between her claws, poor thing. i check them thoroughly once every week (when working them) when i change there bedding, and once evry 2week when there not working. just bleached all there hutch out and changed all bedding e.t.c so unless i have missed a small one there should be no more problems. stubby 175
every time they are handled, ie DAILY Quote Link to post
Maria_ferrets 0
Mine stay indoors, so aside from a flea once in a blue moon they don't have anything. But in a case like yours they should be checked every day or two. Quote Link to post
welshshrek 0
Mine are checked daily when worked and weekly when out of season and sprayed with frontline when needed. Quote Link to post
stealthy1 3,964
You can normally see or feel a tick if they have one on them, if they have fleas they near enough chew thier bo***cks off, so not hard to spot a flea outbreak Quote Link to post
