Big Daz 0
Hi all I am new to shooting over other peoples land ie farmers and was wanting to know when people say that you get permission off a landowner to shoot over their land do you normally get it in writing from the farmer or is it usually just by word of mouth. would a farmer be upset if you asked him or her to write out a letter stating that he or she had given you perission to shoot over their land. for instance if i aproached a farmer and he gave me permission but not in writing how do i stand if pc plod turns up or a discruntled heighbour. the reason i am asking is that a few friends are asking their farmer friends if i can go shooting on their land on my behalf and i did not want to risk the chance of loosing the shooting rights by being stupid and saying or doing the wrong thing. so any help greatly appreciated especially what i should and shouldn't do or say. cheers daz

Big Daz 0
Thanks for your replies. so basicly land owners would prefer to be asked to sign paperwork because that will give them confidence that they dealing with a person who is going about things the right manner. cheers daz
