villebones 4
Hi guys, this may sound stupid but I am just generally interested. What do you do with the foxes you have shot? On the permission I have just gained the farmer said once my pal has shot it He will throw it on the bonfire. Thanks in advance Edited July 23, 2009 by villebones Quote Link to post

cúagusgiorraí 57
Usually leave them where they're shot, most are out where no one will find them. Otherwise I bring them to the farm yard and leave them there as evidence we're actually doing something Better to leave up on a wall or hedge mate, but yes most lads do what you do. Night Hunter 109
Them Pesky foxes taste mighty fine in stew my friend............ Quote Link to post
SportingShooter 0
Ordinarily, hung on a fence or in a hedgerow. This place is full of them. Quote Link to post
humperdingle 0
The dead carcass generally won't last long. I shot two half grown cubs and left them where they were shot. 3 nights later there was nothing but a pile of loose fur at the location. The nesting pair of local buzzards dealt with them pretty sharpish. Quote Link to post
Murph 30
Chuck them in the dead pit, or hedge them if they're well away from where anyone will find them. Quote Link to post

Same here we dumped three in a gorse clump intending to go back for the skulls when we went back a week later ther was only bits of fur and a odd bone Quote Link to post
