Panna 68
hi Guys. i'm a newbe and looking for a little info ? my Border bitch is 13 months old now but has not had a season never known any of my dogs to go this long before ! is it something i should be worried about ? cheers Hey, maybe she only had a "quite heat" (you know, when she is not bleeding) and you didn't recognize it? My PJRT bitch had the same. And I had another one that didn't come into season until she was 1.5 year old. But anyway: she yet needs to proove herself in work, so you have 1 more year (at least) until you will want to cover her. Don't you? ATB, Anna

skycat 6,173
I'm looking aftera friend's Border pup at the moment: when she came here about 6 weeks ago she was showing all the behavioural signs of coming season. She swelled up but there was no bleeding at all: but it was definitely a season as now her tits have bagged up a bit. Not uncommon for very unconfident bitches to have silent, or blind seasons, especially if there are other more dominant bitches in the kennels or at home (whatever: where the bitch lives). Not always the reason though: once had a very tough Lakie bitch: she only ever had blind heats all through her life, but could and was able to breed.
