Waz 4,252 Posted July 24, 2009 Report Share Posted July 24, 2009 (edited) This rough fox terrier bolted 1 last Friday, caught him up and put him back into the same sette and dug him with 3 more. (photo of dog from a year or so back) Next day dug to another small rough fox terrier (below) twice, 1st dig = 1 bolted and 3 dug, 2nd place dug 1. valerio 32 Posted July 25, 2009 Report Share Posted July 25, 2009 We mainly hunt rock and undiggable place and the dogs we use are jagdterriers.As for bolting badgers is more easily said than done,but with some tricks it can happen(not often).You will need a very smart dog,stay far away from the sett entrance,relise him from the lead when you are 20 or 30 metres away,if you go near the entrance or walk over the sett it'll never bolt.Then charge your gun with buckshots and hope for the best.
