aaronpigeonplucker 32 Posted July 23, 2009 Report Share Posted July 23, 2009 :clapper: i'll sell you a tin of luncheon meat (tescos finenst!) for £15 per tin. seriously though for carp you dont need boilies. after years of feeding on high protein superfoods i would'nt be suprised if a carp was a suprised and intrigued with a worm! bread=tesco sweetcorn=tesco worms=garden luncheon meat=tesco prawns (they do work!)=tesco as for flavourings vanilla essecnce=tesco almond flavouring=tesco i have also heard that carp are now taking strwaberries, ferreo rauche (spellling) andhard boiled potatos. bait can be cheap if you know what to look for! droid 11 Posted July 23, 2009 Report Share Posted July 23, 2009 hard boiled potatos. Gawd that takes me back. Boiled potato was a popular bait 20 years ago. Caught my best carp (16lb) off sweetcorn. It's like a lot of fishing, carp bait is made to catch anglers as much as carp.... Quote Link to post
