pro diablo

hi all,

i was thinking of getting a catty for a bit of rabbiting on my walks. i was thinking of getting a pro diablo with some steel ball bearings:

do you think this would be a suitable cataplut for mooching after rabbits, squirrels and woodys?

You would be better off making one or buying a Milbro style, There is an excellent thread about catty's Ill see if I can dig it up for you.

hhmmm.....call me lazy but my DIY skills are not up to scratch and i'd rahter just buy one. will the pro diablo be accurate enough or am i better off just going for the milbro type as you saidl. the milbros dont look very accurate.

Seriously have a read through that thread, There both capable of taking quarry with practice its down to personal choice really. I do like the Milbro style but nothing beats making your own. As for accuracy its the person behind that makes it accurate. Practice, Practice and then practice some more!

I have a pro diablo and it is powerfull, and I have shot pigeons and rats with them at a fairly long range.

I still would say make your own though.

go and spend 100 pound on a catty it makes no difference

 

buy a catty a small one what fits in your pocket

 

strong elastic be it what ever elastic you want start shooting stuff

 

pratice pratice pratice ...... no such thing as an accurrate catty its the person whos shooting!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yep practice,the pro diablo is ok,but a bit bulky for the pocket!
