Hold a nice bit of fresh rabbit a few feet from him, he will find you  , get him used to you giving him nice things , just call his name at the same time, soon get the hang of it, there clever little buggers

Hi mate

you will be able to teach him to come to you quite easy the way kay said

But as stubby said you aint got a chance of getting him to stay still

ferts are always either sound asleep or on the move

the only way you might get him to stay still for a few mins is put a treat

like a drop or two of ferretone on you finger and let him lick it off

My daughter does this with all our kitts and she has built up a very good

trusting relationship with all the ferrets old and kitts and she can do

anything she wants with them and never gets so much as a nip

GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR 1ST KITT MATE

i jus give a little whistle and they come out and go mental lol

i just got 2 new kits & from 1st day i got them i whistled like ferreting1888 said had them two weeks now & they move like shit off a shovel when i whistle , i can open door to hutch & they are clinging on it to get to me :) only just given them names so next step is to get ferret to come to me when called, which shouldn't be too hard as they are clever little b%^&"ds,all the best with your new arrivals show us some pics of the little fuzzballs a.t.b with their progress

regards john
