Pole cat kits

whats hybrid ferrets mate? i use to have two ferrets that looked similar to that ferret all brown.

 

the jill is 7/8 european pole cat,the kits are back to pure pole cat ferret,not trying to proove any thing by the breeding before any one says anything just like them :)

Gorgeus jill! Congrats with the kits. I hope they will behave nice when they get older.

Just had 3 hybrid kits myself this year, only 20-30% but still. :p They behaved nicely, just spend lots and lots of time with them. :D

thanks, your bang on, lots of handling at a very early age,the jill is 7/8 and i had a hob that i lost,they are and wer like kittens.

me and my kids will be messing with these all the time :D

I gotta ask you. Does the jill bite you when you handle the kits?

It seems to have been a problem overhere when people use a jill who is partcially wild.

Now, the jill I used was only 12,5% polecat and she didn't bite me at all. But I know other breeders who used 25% and 50%, and their jills had a tendency to bite them during the raising of the kits.

 

(Note, the hob i chose for the litter was between 25% or 50%)

im not bothering her to much to be honest, same as i leave my other jills lone for a week or two,she was getting a bit tutchy up to giving birth, but im handling her again now no problem
