I’m not one for conspiracy theories but has any one ever sighted any “Big Cats†whilst out. I have heard people say that many were released into woods when the The Dangerous Wild Animals Act of 1976 was originally introduced as a private members bill in response to public concern about the keeping of dangerous pets, especially big cats.

I swear to God, that a couple of years a go a animal which I can only describe as Lynx like took one jump across the road whilst I was travelling back home (and no I was not drinking). Needlesss to say I didn't getting out to have a closer look without the back up of a SA80!

I beleive they are there in certain parts of britain but you would think that lads like us would have a bigger chance over anybody at seeing something with us being out with dogs regular eapecialy lamping lads, but saying that these animals are experts at avoiding any intrusion on there teritory. You would think a pack of hounds would of come accross a scent or something tho unless they have and ignored it through fear maybe who knows.

Even though "Big Cats" are experts in stealth and remaining unseen. I dont think they could have mastered the art of covering their own pad prints!

Do these things never die? Where do the bodies go?

Sorry for me they reign alongside the Lochness monster and yeti, myths!!

Big cats in the UK? Inverness museum has a stuffed puma that was trapped at Cannich about 20 years ago, was a dumped pet as it was old with worn teeth when caged trapped.

I have seen some huge feral black cats in the Moray costal district and from a distance they look like black panthers, same loop and tail carrage

they hunted the beast of bodmin for a long time while all the "experts" studied the kills pronouncing them big cat kills then they shot a feral lurcher and the kills stopped. it would be easy to prove they existed if they were out there as bodies would be found etc but its very hard to prove something doesn't exist.
