pcp noise

Recommended Posts

as you may know i have recently bought an fn19. although at first i didnt really see any problems with it, after getting out with it a few times i have noticed that it is quite loud. it has a falcon silencer on it, but to be honest i was expecting it to be much quiter, to perhaps get a couple of shots off at a group of rabbits before they realise what it is.

is it just me not knowing what one should sound like?

it is my first pcp and i had never shot with one previously.

to me it is only marginally quiter than shooting a springer, almost has the same twang to it, but more muffled.

any help would be great

thanks

jenks

just spent the last 20minutes on falcon owners forum. i can find a couple of pages with people talkin about it, but no word of how to make them, what they look like. where you fit them and what to make them from????

i know i'm a pain in the arse but a little help please????

you make them out of a 12 guage plaswad and an o ring and drill a 1/8th hole in it empty your air and remove the filler end on the cylinder and place the detwanger into the cylinder realigne the barrel and re connect the filler valve job done easy to do ill find the post that we did on my fn 19 later on and post it on here atb mal

If someone could send you a 12 gauge wad and you get the O rings, I'll bring some tools to the meet and fit it for you.
