Shaunm41 14
Hi, I live in the west yorkshire area and am wanting to apply for a shotgun certificate.. I currently have no experience with a shotgun, although I am going to have a shooting lesson at the game fair next weekend.. I mainly want it for clay shooting and maybe shooting rabbits, I have a friend with 10 acres of land I can use for shooting when the cows have been taken in for the winter.. Anyone any advice on how to go about applying? Thanks Shaun Quote Link to post
langouroux 14
its relatively easy to get a shot gun license mate, you don't need "land" like you do with a rifle, as long as you fill in the forms correctly and get decent referees you should be fine. Quote Link to post

Cheers for that mate, Who are the best kind of people to use as referees? I always use the landlady of my local pub for refferences but not sure she be suitable for shotgun license.. Also do I need to show gun safe when they come to see me at home? Quote Link to post
