hi people im just wanting to know what peoples opinion is of the best hunting air rifle out and why/

My opinion is the theoben rapid allthough this will differ to a lot of people

the rapids are heavy, but awesome guns

 

they are expensive to

 

the hw1oo has to be the best "out of the box" rifle on the market, but again expensive.

 

air airms s410..........is a light, accurate and much cheaper option and SHOULD not be ruled out by anyone when looking to buy a new rifle.

 

the hw and rapid (especially the rapid) have a much higher shot count but , when hunting do you really need more than 50- 70 shots????.........personally i dont think you do.

 

that said everyone has a budget and what suits one dosn't suit another, and that will, im sure, become apparent !!!

yeah lets the blow the smoke up the arse of a boxy looking over weight airgun that shoots straight namely the rapid 7, people only like the gun because it was one of the first succesful multi shot .

 

move with the times and pick up a new / up to date model different gun , look at fx guns using new twist barrel technology (makes rapids look like gat guns)

 

hw100 or daystate are knocking out some good stuff.

 

airarms as well . its just down to personal choice as all up to date airguns out shoot the shooter

HW100k or Theoben MFR, had both very hard to criticise either rifle both are top class, verminator also recommended for something different, the main thing to think about is what model actually fits you properly, to many people buy by looks or name alone, big mistake IMHO, all pcp's are just about as accurate as each other, atb Richard

They cost the same as small house but daystate are the way forward They don’t need no tweaking come with every thing as standard and they shoot like a dream. atb bedrock

i have had the hw100,air arms s410,theoben mfr,and also rapid7 with a custom stock,will be having a new air ranger,the most rabbits i have shot over the last couple of years has been with a s200 in .177,,not the prettiest gun on the market but it shoots straight its light,i dont think there is a best hunting rifle out there,,they are all top spec these days i think its down to the person a lot of the time and not the gun in question,,
