poacher3161 1,766
It can be a good cross.A mate of mine bred some years ago the dam was a genuine fx saluki/grey put to a grey/beddy even though the dam was 26tts and the sire was 22 one of the bitch pups onley made 21tts.atb Quote Link to post
Little Butch 16
Ok, do they often turn out broken coated? Butch Quote Link to post
poacher3161 1,766
Aparently if i remember onley a few pups out of a litter of nine were brocken coated if genuine first crosses are used imho the outcome would tend to favour a smooth coat as its onley the bedlington in the mix with a rough coat.atb dell Quote Link to post
Guest rich_m_04@hotmail.co.uk
I think it is a shit breed, with the head strong tendencies of the bedo, and the unwillingness to work and retrieve of the saluki( im not saying all salukis so dnt start shouting abuse at me) I just feel there are so much better breeds that that.
