Guest Rod&dog Posted July 18, 2009 Report Share Posted July 18, 2009 (edited) Ive got a nice muntjac head peice with four points,,Its been in the compost for months and months and now i got it out its clean of flesh and ready to be preserved a little bit,, Im hoping to get it on a bit of wood for my living room,,Only problem is that it feels like its going to fall apart and still looks quite drity,, could someone who is used to preserving heads please help me on how to make it fit for a plaque. gsmith 0 Posted July 20, 2009 Report Share Posted July 20, 2009 You could try simmering it in boiling water with bi carbonate soda, im unsure how bad it is obviously without seeing it. in the states they often use roting methods and bugs to clean things. dont bin it just yet Quote Link to post
