not croc but have had alligator. the cut i had came from a leg. it was dry white meat similar to turkey or chicken breast but w/ a different flavor i can't rightly describe but definitely not chicken.

 

 

 

 

 

that sounds about right... i think it had a sort of fishy twang to it??

 

tried kangaroo and emu as well... to me kangaroo just tastes like tough beef and emu was like tough chicken!!

Iwould never eat anything that had,had ,Rod Hulls ,hand ,up its arse.

hate to say it mate but the kangaroo . emu you ate must have either been a shit cut or and old animal, i lived in oz for 9 months and regulary ate 'roo and emu its a fantastic meat.

 

as for croc / gaiter again it should be tender and juicy and yes it does have fishy twang to it.

 

imapala is very strong

 

widerbeest is awesome on ther BBQ

 

kudu is awesome especially biltong / jerky

 

warthog is tough and a bit weird

 

emu / ostrich is lovely

 

buffalo is tough if not hammered with one of those steak hammers

 

there is load sof other wired stuff i have eaten, i lie most and hate some....wonder why im 17 stone! hahaha
