Guest Countryboyo
Just went out to feed and check my ferrets only to find the white fella dead (the one that diddnt have the bad arse) absolutely sickened. dont know what would have caused it like it was fine last night very playful when i holding it . Have to take the other one to the vet today and I just hope they can sort her out. going to have to sort her out with raw meat today. If I got a new jill kit for her would they be ok in the same cage? Quote Link to post

It should be ok for a little while without a mate if you are spending the time with it. Quote Link to post

Country, try getting a pair of kits from somewhere else, sorry you lost those two. Quote Link to post
droid 11
Countryboyo, at least you tried mate, so fair play. Quote Link to post
Guest Countryboyo
Thanks lads Hopefully I will be a ble to get a couple of stronger and maybe even older kits and I reckon I will feed them on birds and rabbits next time and give that kibble a miss. for stealthy one the mesh I used was one inch wire gauge mesh. the enclosure was 6 foot x 4 foot x 2 foot high. If anyone in the munster area has strong kits 4 months or older that were reared in a clean environment then let me know cheers. Quote Link to post

Thanks lad A lot of people thought I was mad spending 70 quid at the vets on them between shots worming and antibiotics but wanted to give them the chance. I might be lucky the next time. droid 11
You did the right thing by the kits, nothing mad about that. Kibble has it's place. Probably not best for kits though. Quote Link to post
