just a quick question whats the most foxes yous have had to ground in one den, is it the usual 1 or 2 or has anybody had more and how many. cheers bucky

seen three before two dogs and a vixen, a lad i get out with bolted 3 and dug one last season. think if you do alot dec feb time you get alot of this as a dog fox wont leave his vixen while she is in season

well don guys, 3 sounds reachable anybody had an unusual amount. something out of the ordinary

bolted three out of a drain last season and got one.a ruff old dogfox

ive not seen any more personally than 3 in one earth......(dug)

 

but i have bolted 5 out the one earth. (undiggable )

 

i must say there was possible cubs in there ,,

was thinking more adults but a large litter of cubs would be interesting aswell

my pal dug 4 with a hard terrier in the one big set never had anythin like that since [bANNED TEXT] enough ive had 4 big cubs but not full adults

4 adult foxes is good going mate, can anyone better it, dug to or bolted,has anyone came across an extremely large litter of cubs

myself(with my terrier)and 4 keepers had 6 litters in 1 day and 5 vixens.one of the places(a big one)held 9 cubs.all of good size but id imagine 2 litters?

went up to monmouth in about 1974/5 season in quite deep snow , about 5/6 of us terriers and lurchers , marked a colapsed drain, in with dog ,just went slowly back and back up drain this is before locators ?? so managed to call dog out left it and walked on , 20/30 yards on looked round to see a fox on the field behind us took it with lurcher. followed tracks back to drain entered another dog and after a lot of digging and tunnelling had another 4 foxes out ,making 5 in all . ALL were vixens . we tried all earths in that valley but could not find the dog fox, but had 1 very happy farmer on our hands. happy days good memories!!!!!!!!!!!
