oggy808 24
went up to monmouth in about 1974/5 season in quite deep snow , about 5/6 of us terriers and lurchers , marked a colapsed drain, in with dog ,just went slowly back and back up drain this is before locators ?? so managed to call dog out left it and walked on , 20/30 yards on looked round to see a fox on the field behind us took it with lurcher. followed tracks back to drain entered another dog and after a lot of digging and tunnelling had another 4 foxes out ,making 5 in all . ALL were vixens . we tried all earths in that valley but could not find the dog fox, but had 1 very happy farmer on our hands. happy days good memories!!!!!!!!!!! Quote Link to post
