well had my first salmon on the river on monday nite on my new rod a 12-6 guideline lpxe with a shooting head & a size 7 cascade water was dropping in and a bit coloured had 3 or 4 good runs of it was a fish of about 9lbs put it back to fight another day hoddom on the annan

ive fished the annon at dumfries is the same river just trout i caught

nice fish never caught salmon

no its the nith at dumfries the annans about 17 miles away

arrrrrrr right i always thought it was the annon i fished its on a shoot i used to go on is thier salmon in the nith mate

i the nith is a good salmon river too
