Lure machine

hi, been busy over the last couple of months sorting my lure machine out to keep the dogs active through the summer months these are a couple of video's of mine and phil h dogs running, and couple pic of the lure machine.

Well done boyo! Done a good job ill get a pic of mine up later for u but I havent finished it yet! I see is that bear in the third video bullying his way on the lure again? haha... well done on making that boyo keep the dog fit!

we have ours twice the lenth of that. far better for them but watch the dogs dont hit the machine when there flat out.

Good stuff mate, only thing is will the dog turn off a rabbit thats going into a hedge as he does with the lure machine. This is just an observation not slagging anyone off. My mates has started to do that as a result of the machine, unless its just a crap dog lol

Yes mate we will have to pop down me and my brother! Glad that whippet of yours is doing well on it, just half way through making mine now just need to make a frame for it ill get a pic up later of it. Just trying to find a really powerful switch for it as a normal switch just keeps melting! Im using a starter motor off a honda civic!

Could I ask how you control the speed of the Lure? which switch did you use?

hi to all that replied to my post. A few seem interested in how to make the lure machine so if you send me a pm i'lll send you my number and explain to you over the phone because it's much easier than trying to explain in a message.

 

to breeze - i'm working on turns for it, at the moment i'm using people on the turns holding key rings till the lure gets close to them then they leave it go and the key rings go in with the lure. so any other ideas will be greatfully recieved.
